Agreement to These Terms
Using Murray Residents Directory means you accept these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the site. The terms apply to the pages, text, links, and search interfaces made available through this private reference.
What the Service Provides
This site describes and links to public record paths for Murray and Salt Lake County, including the Assessor, Recorder, elections, courts, vital records, libraries, museums, and Archives. It hosts no government record and has no affiliation with Murray City, Salt Lake County, Utah Courts, Utah elections, OVRS, or any custodian.
Sources can change. A link may move, an index may be incomplete, and a public result may be stale or wrong. Verify an important fact with the office that holds the record.
Acceptable and Prohibited Use
Use the site for lawful personal research, family history, estate work, civic questions, historic preservation, reconnecting, or checking a record that affects you. Do not scrape, overload, impersonate a custodian, evade access controls, expose protected information, stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm any person.
- Do not use the site to make FCRA-regulated decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, or similar eligibility.
- Do not treat a parcel owner, court party, voter result, directory entry, or obituary as proof of a current household.
- Do not submit another person’s sensitive information to the site or a linked office without a lawful reason.
FCRA Notice
Murray Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. section 1681 et seq. Nothing on this site, and nothing returned by a linked search tool, is a consumer report. The material may not be used to judge eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose covered by the FCRA.
Accuracy and Custodian Control
The site offers general reference information without a promise that every name, address, date, fee, phone number, or access rule is current. Salt Lake County warns that property data may be at least 24 hours old and that a title search may be needed. Utah Courts, voter systems, vital-record offices, and historical collections have their own limits.
Only the custodian can certify, amend, release, or protect its record. Use Utah GRAMA, Utah Code Title 63G Chapter 2, for an existing city or county record request. A GRAMA request does not require an office to create an explanation or disclose private, controlled, protected, sealed, juvenile, or expunged material.
Links and Third-Party Services
External pages have their own terms, privacy notices, fees, accounts, and technical behavior. A link is provided for research convenience. Murray Residents Directory does not control or certify an external result, and a linked government or library page does not endorse this site.
Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record access is addressed by the Government Records Access and Management Act, Utah Code Title 63G, Chapter 2, including sections 63G-2-201, 63G-2-203, 63G-2-204, and 63G-2-205. Utah consumer-data rights may be addressed by the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code Title 13, Chapter 61, when its scope and exemptions apply.
Questions about this private reference can be sent through the Contact page. Questions about a record must go to the named Murray, Salt Lake County, Utah, court, library, or archive custodian.
